What was the project for?

The aim was a cosy, beautiful and flexible space away from the noisy city centre, where people could step out of their daily routine, make things and properly rest.

BOA's concept joins a workshop and a café: guests can take part in workshops, work on crafts, have a light lunch or a drink, and simply spend time there. The interior's natural materials, warm lighting and calm atmosphere are there to support both the making and the resting.

What did the project include?

An empty white room had to become a workshop café. From the start the main task was to set out the functional zones. The interior concept, the layout, the materials, the colour palette, the lighting and the furniture were all developed for it.

Particular care went into natural materials and into furniture and lights designed for this space. In the end a completely empty room became a calm, practical place that is a workshop, a workspace and a café at once.
