Process
A design project develops in stages. Each stage builds on the one before, and at the end everything comes together in one detailed project.
How does a project run?
- 01
Brief and a free consultation
A short questionnaire, then a conversation about the space, the style and what you need. We settle the scope, the timeline and the price.
- 02
Style and concept
The style, colours and direction every later decision follows.
- 03
Space planning
Rooms and zones, partitions and where the furniture goes.
- 04
Furniture, lighting and materials
The furniture and lighting plans, and the choice of materials and colours.
- 05
3D visualisation
Realistic images, so you see the space before the renovation.
- 06
Technical drawings
Electrical and plumbing points, as drawings ready for the builders.
- 07
Design supervision
Optional, during the renovation: site visits, explaining the drawings and checking the work.
Questions people ask
How long does a design project take?
It depends on the area: 50–80 m² takes about 1–1.5 months, 80–150 m² about 1.5–2 months, and 150–250 m² about 2–3 months. Above 250 m² the timeline is agreed individually. Design supervision is not part of this timeline.
Who builds the space?
The client runs the renovation with their own builders. If you want the designer to keep an eye on the work, add design supervision.
